Protest the anti-education governor at Santa Monica College.
It is 4pm on June 14th and protestors are assembling outside Santa Monica College to express their outrage at the governor’s continued cuts in education funding and at the board’s decision to have him speak at the graduation ceremonies that are about to begin. While police presence is light, police have blocked off 16th Street at Pico. There are confirmed reports that police and FBI are undercover wearing cap-and-gown regalia and are standing amongst the graduating students in the stands.
