To commemorate the 1942 Internment of the entire Japanese American Community... and to Protest the current Detention of Arab American & American Muslims, a DAY OF REMEMBRANCE will be held February 16 on the very spot in L.A.'s Little Tokyo where Japanese Americans were rounded up and shipped off to Concentration Camps.

Special "Fighting Spirit Award" will be awarded to Art Shibayama, Japanese Latin American Activist. Special Recognition will be given to Redress Litigants. The Japanese American Citizen's League Award will go to Korean Immigrant Workers Advocates.
