On detention of Iranian immigrants during INS Special Registration
There has been an INS Special Registration mandated for Males nationals and citizens of Iran residing in US. The process has led to the detention of many people eventhough in the legal status at the worst possible conditions. I am trying to picture this process.
I have made a presentation on the issue of INS Special Registration that led to a big demonstration of Iranians on Dec.18 , 2002. I received many calls , e-mails on what the truth is and I put together all my observations/hearings in the past month in this presentation. Here it is: http://www.kathymehr.com/test/ins.htm
I hope it can give people a clear picture of the process
