WHITE ROSE FINAL LOGISTICS for 12/31/07(by 8 pm) & 01/01/08 (by 7 am)

Please Be in Pasadena – with signs/banners, clothing, visual props & small bag to carry – with warm clothing, by 6:30 to 7:00 am. Give yourself enough time to deal with the inevitable parking/transport delay. 1.1 million people will be physically coming/present. Over 100,000 are camped out the night before. Those coming Tuesday morning will have to get up as early as 5 am. Your Ultimate Goal: Be in Pasadena by 7:00 am actually on-site at Orange Grove & Colorado as close to the cameras by Norton Simon as possible …You will have to walk 5 to 6 blocks (at least) once you’ve actually parked. The best spots for cameras will be right in front of the Norton Simon museum. Note: If you are in the 12/31/07 8 pm encampment please coordinate via Jerry (310.204.5636), Eva (323-829-0314), Kyle (310.893.9762) or Peter (310.497.7255) .

: Reserved Parade parking (e.g. the lot at Parsons Street): Sharp Seating Company, official seating company of the Tournament of Roses, (626) 795-4171 and the City of Pasadena, (626) 744-6470. Also: Easy Parking Service (626) 286-7576. Paid parking is offered on a first-come, first-served basis at various lots and parking structures near the Parade route. Overnight parking on Pasadena streets begins at noon the day before the parade, for that evening only. All No Parking areas and red curb zones remain off-limits; vehicles in violation will be subject to impound and fine. No parking allowed on parade route.

RV Parking : RV parking is available at the Rose Bowl Stadium prior to parade day. Overnight RV parking is located in Brookside Park at the Rose Bowl Stadium. First come first served. Reservations not accepted. For additional information please call 626-577-3100.

: OPTION #1 - MetroRail : Gold line. Exit at Memorial Park, Lake, Allen or Del Mar stations; all are just a short walk (5 to 6 blks) from the parade route. Avoid traffic and parking hassles. Just hop on board! OPTION #2 – Buses : L.A. County Metropolitan Transportation Authority will provide regular bus service to areas near the Rose Parade, Rose Bowl Game and Post Parade areas. Buses originate from locations throughout the county. For additional info on the Metro and Buses, please call the MTA information line at 1-800-COMMUTE (266-6883) or visit www.mta.net. . City of Santa Monica Big Blue Bus offers round trip transportation packages from Santa Monica. For information and tickets call 310-451-5444. Inland Empire / Riverside to Pasadena? Take the the San Bernadino Metrolink train to Union Station in LA and transfer to the Gold Line which will take you to Pasadena.
